Toa Payoh Chinese Methodist Church

Toa Payoh Chinese Methodist Church was built by Foochow Methodist Church with the help of other Methodist churches. The Church is located at 480 Toa Payoh Lorong 2, Singapore 319641, with a total area of 63,000 sq feet.

The works of ministry followed immediately after the completion of the church building. A bilingual English and Chinese Evagelistic meeting was organized from 20th to 26th August 1973, and the Chinese/Hokkien Service was started on 2 September 1973 with a congregation of less than 100 people. It was instituted as a local conference in 1977. The church started her Children Nursery and Pre-nursery ministry in 1971 and 2000 respectively as a service to the community as well as a mean for reaching out to children and their parents who do not know the Lord.

The church's vision is to become a "healthy growing church of Christ". Our mission and goal is "to build a spiritually healthy church that glorifies God".
