Provide admin support for the smooth running of church office and ministries.

Assisting and Reporting to the Church Manager, the Admin Executive’s duties are:

  • Compilation and summary reporting of weekly Church collections
  • Checking and processing of weekly expense disbursements
  • Compilation of Weekly Bulletin for English service
  • Admin support to Pastoral Team
  • Administer Church Membership Software (CMS) and PDPA
  • Administer Church facilities booking
  • Administer the Faith, Hope, Love Memorial (FHLM)columbarium matters
  • Church office reception
  • General office admin


Job requirements

  • Minimum GCE ‘A’ Level qualification
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin
  • Able to work in a small office environment and community minded
  • Preferably with church or VWO experience
  • Multi-tasking and work independently with self-initiative
  • Good communication and inter-personal skills
  • Meticulous, organized and a team player
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and IT savvy

Holy Covenant Methodist Church is seeking a full-time English Ministry Worker.

The candidate will primarily be responsible for nurturing and growing the congregation in the church’s English worship service.

The candidate will also be responsible for leading Bible study, prayers, personal spiritual growth, and outreach programmes.

The position will require on average 42 hours per week, inclusive of working on weekends.

Required qualifications include a degree, strong interpersonal skills, and an energetic/compassionate personality.

Prior experience with church youth programs will be an advantage but not compulsory.

Ensure that the church’s premises, equipment and amenities are well maintained and secure


Principal Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Admin Manager to ensure the proper upkeep, cleanliness and security of the church’s premises

• Updating the church’s Fixed Assets Register for inspection & maintenance purposes

• Attend promptly to the needs of all users of the church’s premises, equipment and amenities

• Under the supervision of the Admin Manager, liase with contractors, vendors and service providers for repairs, maintenance and other services required by the church and ensure that these works are performed satisfactorily

• Supervise the work and conduct of the Operations Assistant/Care taker and provide the PPRSC with an annual appraisal of the same

• Manage maintenance spares and source for quotation according to Finance policy

• Put up proposal for assets upgrading and replacement

• Manage and implement project for asset replacement and upgrading

• Meeting room booking , table and chair setting up including wedding event

• Prepare yearly maintenance budget for approval

• Crisis management or Business Continuous Plan process including fire safety measures and fire drill in the church premises.

• Any other duties as assigned by the PIC, Admin Manager or PPRSC/LCEC from time to time

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or equivalent with relevant experience in estate management and ability to assess any form of property risks

• Knowledge in electrical, plumbing and facilities management

• Some knowledge of computer and Audio & Video and projector systems will be an added advantage

Develop and maintain a professional and reliable administrative framework that effectively supports all ministries of the church


Principal Responsibilities

• Oversee the smooth running of all administrative and logistical supports necessary for the ministries of the church

• Develop and implement proper procedures that comply with corporate governance guidelines issued by the Commissioner of Charities such as procurement, financial controls etc

• Ensure that proper records and systematic storage of all official church documents such as but not limited to Minutes LCEC meetings; official contracts, MOUs and agreements; bank statements, membership rolls etc

• Administer the church’s payroll and statutory obligations in respect of her position as an employer such as CPF contributions, tax returns, employment passes etc

• Manages the church’s banking accounts, including the depositing cash and monitoring fixed deposits

• Execute promptly the decisions of the LCEC and PPRSC pertaining to financial, property and human resources matters and such other matters the LCEC might specifically direct from time to time

• Deal with external agencies on matters pertaining to the church’s administration and operations

• Monitor and work closely with the Property Management Committee to ensure optimal usage of all FMC facilities and amenities, including the rentals of FMC premises to external parties

• Supervise the proper maintenance, safety and cleanliness of FMC premises and equipment at all times

• Ensure that FMC is adequately and properly insured for her insurable risks such as public liabilities, damage to properties, burglary etc

• Attend promptly to general queries or requests from visitors, worshippers and members

• Provide overall leadership to all non-pastoral staff of FMC, supervise their work and conduct and provide the PPRSC with annual appraisals of your direct reports

• Attend LCEC and other committee meetings as may be requested from time to time

• Any other duties as may be assigned by the PIC or PPRSC from time to time

Tertiary education



At least, three years of working experience in the children ministry in whatever capacity.


Theological training

Theological training is not required but applicant must be a spirit-filled Christian who has been saved for at least 10 years to ensure a certain level of spiritual maturity.
