Job Responsibilities

-Work with Kindergarten Management Committee and lead the kindergarten team

towards achieving Kindergarten’s Vision, Mission and Core Values, yearly goals and

long-term objectives.

-Lead and supervise teachers in their planning, preparation, education delivery and

giving pastoral care to our children.

-Ensure a safe and hygiene kindergarten environment.

-Establish close rapport and communication with Parents on children’s activities and

development matters.

-Prepare and track Kindergarten’s budget.

-Supervise administration in personnel, finance and facilities maintenance.

 

Requisites:

-Education Level: Diploma or Degree.

-Professional Qualification includes Diplomas in Early Childhood Education:

-Teaching (DECCE-T), and Leadership (DECCE-L).

-Proficient in English, written and spoken.

-Preferably with previous job experience as Principal.

FOOCHOW MC | ADMINISTRATIVE MANAGER

 

Mission

Develop and maintain a professional and reliable administrative framework that effectively supports all ministries of the church

 

Principal Responsibilities

• Oversee the smooth running of all administrative and logistical supports necessary for the ministries of the church

• Develop and implement proper procedures that comply with corporate governance guidelines issued by the Commissioner of Charities such as procurement, financial controls etc

• Ensure that proper records and systematic storage of all official church documents such as but not limited to Minutes LCEC meetings; official contracts, MOUs and agreements; bank statements, membership rolls etc

• Administer the church’s payroll and statutory obligations in respect of her position as an employer such as CPF contributions, tax returns, employment passes etc

• Manages the church’s banking accounts, including the depositing cash and monitoring fixed deposits

• Execute promptly the decisions of the LCEC and PPRSC pertaining to financial, property and human resources matters and such other matters the LCEC might specifically direct from time to time

• Deal with external agencies on matters pertaining to the church’s administration and operations

• Monitor and work closely with the Property Management Committee to ensure optimal usage of all FMC facilities and amenities, including the rentals of FMC premises to external parties

• Supervise the proper maintenance, safety and cleanliness of FMC premises and equipment at all times

• Ensure that FMC is adequately and properly insured for her insurable risks such as public liabilities, damage to properties, burglary etc

• Attend promptly to general queries or requests from visitors, worshippers and members

• Provide overall leadership to all non-pastoral staff of FMC, supervise their work and conduct and provide the PPRSC with annual appraisals of your direct reports

• Attend LCEC and other committee meetings as may be requested from time to time

• Any other duties as may be assigned by the PIC or PPRSC from time to time

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• At least a diploma with no less than ten years of relevant experience

• Sound working knowledge of relevant government regulations pertaining to the operations of the church

• Basic accounting knowledge and IT skills

• Effectively bilingual preferred

Qualification

Tertiary education

 

Experience

At least, three years of working experience in the children ministry in whatever capacity.

 

Theological training

Theological training is not required but applicant must be a spirit-filled Christian who has been saved for at least 10 years to ensure a certain level of spiritual maturity.
