When the Methodist Church in Singapore was set up in December 1976, three annual conferences, comprising the Chinese Annual Conference, Emmanuel Tamil Annual Conference and Trinity Annual Conference were also established.
The Methodist Church in Singapore is headed by a Bishop, elected at its General Conference. Each of the Annual Conferences is headed by a President. The Chinese Annual Conference is composed of four district conferences: District 1, District 2, District 3 and District 4 and each of the Districts is headed by a District Superintendent.
The imprints that CAC has made in its history comprise 17 local conferences with weekly worship services and ministries conducted in Mandarin/ English, six different dialects (Hokkien, Cantonese, Foochow, Hakka, Teochew, Hinghwa), Bahasa Indonesia, and Tamil.
