“为家庭祷告日”是家庭事工部自成立以来所定下的优先事工项目。爱家就当为家祷告，以祷告为家庭的基石。信徒的家庭之所以宝贵，因为它可以履行代代相传的职责，从而扩张上帝家的帐幕。
敬拜和赞美之间有着密切的关系， 但本质上有所不同。
敬拜是一种内在的生命和生活形态。敬拜不只限于教会，而是一生全心将身体献上当作活祭献给上帝，以心灵和诚实，讨上帝的喜悦和满足。赞美是敬拜生命外在的流露，是敬拜生命重要的一部分，以歌声彰显上帝的属性、荣耀和作为，表达人对上帝大爱的回应，上帝配得一切的赞美。赞美是基督徒生命的意义和目标，“凡有生命的都要赞美耶和华！”
诗歌本身就是传播信息，常常根深蒂固地留在人的心里，因此诗歌内容必须符合圣经的教导。好的诗歌是合乎圣经真理教导的诗歌，如生命之道，滋养人的心灵，让人认识上帝，激励安慰人心。
【诗96:1a】“你们要向耶和华唱新歌”。“新歌”是歌颂上帝的救赎，人被圣灵重生成为新造的人，每个以新生命回应唱出上帝救赎大爱、基督十架宝血、真理和上帝的道、引导人回应上帝的爱，都是 “新歌”！
敬拜和赞美是个人与上帝的关系，求圣灵带领我们虔诚在上帝面前敬拜赞美祂，不是靠敬拜的模式、诗歌、环境，或满足个人的感觉。求主赐智慧帮助激励我们选择用詩篇、赞美詩、灵歌，彼此教导，互相劝戒，以感恩的心歌頌上帝，以丰盛 生命的敬拜，降服合一的赞美，作为馨香的祭，献给深爱我们的三一真神上帝，荣耀主名！
Over the years, I have learnt of the posture we ought to have when we serve God. Some Christians may think that to serve God, we must be perfect individuals. On the contrary, if we think this way, we could lose the joy of serving or simply forget that we are serving God.
When we serve God, we are on a journey of obedience and transformation. It calls for us to sacrifice the time, energy, and resources that God has graciously given us, so that we may in turn be a blessing to others. Each decision we make to surrender and submit to Him enables our faith to grow stronger.
My mother’s salvation was one particular challenge that God had used to strengthen my faith.
My faith grew stronger in getting my mother to accept Christ and be baptised. In this journey, I prayed a lot. This went on for years and when I grew tired and felt like giving up, God moved in quickly to show me that salvation belongs to the Lord.
“I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow. So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow.” (1 Cor 3: 6-7)
如果问父母，你对与孩子们的关系，有什么期盼？我想父母都希望与孩子们和睦共处，彼此相爱。天父也是这么吩咐，上帝的儿女们能彼此相爱。耶稣离世以前，这么交代门徒，我赐给你们一条新命令，乃是叫你们彼此相爱；我怎样爱你们，你们也要怎样相爱。
“引到永生，那门是窄的，路是小的，找着的人也少。”（马太福音7:14）信主的人需要放眼未来，朝永生走前瞻性的小路，设定永生为持久的人生目标。然而，这条小路不容易走，主内弟兄姐妹应当多沟通、互相扶持，朝永生齐步走。
基督徒的信仰生活「负面清单」里所列的是什么？是否真的如贸易般，只要不触及信仰生活禁区，其余的都可以？违规就要面对惩罚，没有妥协的余地，我们应引以为鉴。
主耶稣指出，“37 你要尽心、尽性、尽意爱主你的神，38 这是诫命中的第一，且是最大的。39 其次也相仿，就是要爱人如己。40 这两条诫命是律法和先知一切道理的总纲。”（马太福音22:37-40）在这总纲下，「爱神、爱人」是信仰生活的基本元素，基督徒必须以正确态度活出信仰。
基督徒在信仰生活上必然会面对许多 “不可以” ，在今世代，许多的 “不可以” 常有争议。对于信仰生活的「行为调整」，基督徒必须谨慎。
“凡事都可行，但不都有益处。凡事我都可行，但无论哪一件，我总不受它的辖制。” (哥林多前书6:12) “凡事都可行，但不都有益处。凡事都可行，但不都造就人。” （哥林多前书10:23）这表示，信仰生活上的「行为调整」必须带来益处，且不受辖制。
主耶稣说：“我就是道路、真理、生命……。”（约翰福音14:6）祂是真理，祂的教训是我们的信仰行为清单，不管是正面或是负面的，目的都在规范我们的信仰行为。我们要谨慎，管理好自己，维持自己在神所规范的信仰行为之内。
基督徒的信仰行为是面向永生的生命流露，面对清单时不是苦苦挣扎，乃是热切地活出基督。我们虽不完美，却可以努力学习。圣经强调 “有了信心，又要加上德行；有了……；又要 加上……。”（彼得后书1:5-7）由此可见，上帝期待祂的儿女们的灵性不停止的进步，且是叠加的。但愿我们在走向永生的前瞻性小路上，同蒙造就、得恩！
